Hello and welcome to the Custom Colour Guide page! Here you will be able to learn how best to customise your toys, what to expect from your order, and some notes on how your order will be priced. This extensive guide is very detailed to be sure those new to ordering toys can be well informed before making their purchases.
Remember, MonstersLoveMachines is eager to help with your customs and wants to help you achieve your dream toy.
When choosing colours on a screen there will be a slight variance across different devices with different calibrations. MonstersLoveMachines strives to mix the perfect colour as specified, but small variants will occur due to this and must be accepted as is.
TOYS CAN ONLY HAVE COLOURS AND FIRMNESS OPTIONS CUSTOMISED.
Altering models (such as ‘can you add a knot to Washebe’ or ‘can you add piercings to Nakid’) or making entirely new designs is an entirely different process which you can learn more about here.
Note: Colours may change without warning; some pigments may suddenly be discontinued and this means MLM cannot offer that colour any more. This is outside of MLM's control. We will update the website as soon as we find out about these changes.
Please see T&C for more information and before purchasing.
Here at MLM we offer two types of Customisations:
Simple Customs
Simple Customs can be chosen from the drop down menus and are usually for basic colours and options like marbles, splits, etc. These products are totaled up during checkout and they do not require MLM staff to go over your order with you. It is the customer's responsibility to use the drop-down menus appropriately and MLM is not liable for any toys incorrectly ordered and produced.
Complex Customs
Complex Customs are for customers who want a truly fantastic and original toy, often with hand painted markings, many different colours, effects, as well as firmness options not normally offered.
You will begin correspondence directly with MLM via email so you can explain your Complex Custom Coloured toy. Complex Custom Colour orders have a £36 non-refundable deposit upfront, which covers the cost of correspondence and usually the majority of the price of the custom depending on what options are ordered.
Full prices for your individual Complex Custom Colours are worked out after confirmation and any additional costs can be purchased through MLM Monster Monies to cover the fees for your Complex Custom Colours. However, prices are quoted one-off to each order and are subject to change, especially depending on the models and firmness options chosen.
For best results, please colour in the line art provided on each model page (preferably digitally)!
As standard, you will be given some free Silicone Squishables with your order in matching colours. These shapes are random.
For £10 extra you can also get two Plain Eggs matching your Complex Custom Coloured toy!

GITD colours can also be mixed with other tones to create new effects. However, doing so will reduce the brightness of the glowing effect.
These colours can be charged in sunlight or UV light.

Pour Style Types
MLM offers many types of pour styles and can combine them to make new and interesting effects! Pour Styles include an extra cost per use for each toy.
Simple Custom Pour Type Options:
You can find these options in the drop-down menus. Picking them will then require you to choose 1-4 colours from further drop-down menus.
In these diagrams the Example Colours are: 1 Neon Blue, 2 Neon Pink, 3 Neon Purple and 4 Neon Green respectively.
The toy line art used in these examples is Nakid, whom you can find here. Other toys have also been used for examples of other effects MLM can achieve.
The toy is one single colour all over.
This colour option is free and standard on all toys when choosing a standard colour. You must pick at least one colour for your toy. Note that certain colours, such as Glow-In-The-Dark or hand mixed colours, come at a small extra fee.
The toy is a marble between two colours.
Marble patterns are unique to every toy and can be thin and wispy or thick and clumpy. MLM cannot guarantee the look of your standard marbled toy, which may also become ‘muddy’ in colours. If buying a Complex Custom MLM can usually get a specific effect to work, however, this includes more time and effort and as such is regulated to Complex Customs.
This Pour Style Type includes an extra cost of £5 per use in a pour for each toy.
The toy fades from one colour to another, in a gradient.
Fades can be any colours including metallics but they will often blend into a ‘third’ colour; such as Blue fading to Yellow will result in a Green tone in the middle. This is basic colour theory and cannot be avoided, however, it can result in very pretty toys. MLM cannot guarantee the look of your faded toy, which may also become ‘muddy’ in colour between the fade. MLM will aim to fade your toy mainly through the middle of the two colours, however, Complex Customs can see other effects achieved.
This Pour Style Type includes an extra cost of £5 per use in a pour for each toy.
The toy has the shaft of the toy, or upper part, coloured in one colour and the base or balls in another colour.
These colours have a firm ‘split’ between them which is a straight line usually. This can be tilted or in some cases will roughly follow the natural shape of the toy. MLM cannot guarantee the look of your split toy as some smearing or bleeding can occur depending on firmness and colours.
This Pour Style Type includes an extra cost of £5 per use in a pour for each toy.
A combination of previous types of colours with the shaft faded and the base as a single colour.
This option requires 3 colour options or 2 if you can choose the upper shaft fade colour as the base colour.
This Pour Style Type includes an extra cost of £10 per use in a pour for each toy.

Complex Custom Pour Style Types
These types of pours are limited to Complex Customs and are not available with Simple Customs. These options are also incredibly varied and can give unexpected results, as such are mainly for those who have experience with toy ordering before.
One colour is used to highlight or overlay over the entire toy in a different colour. Be advised some colours may overlay strangely on others and change the tone outcome.
MLM can do highlights over anything including splits, marbles, bands and the like. Common examples are shown below.
Note: Hand Painted sections will not be affected by highlights.
This Pour Style Type includes an extra cost of £15 per use in a pour for each toy.
A highlight over the entire toy but with a split from shaft to base underneath.
This Pour Style Type includes an extra cost of £20 per use in a pour for each toy.
Split Highlight Shaft.
The Highlight is only present on the shaft of the toy. Note that this type of pour style is not available on all models due to the design (toys that don’t have a clear-cut base split area such as Huel).
This Pour Style Type includes an extra cost of £20 per use in a pour for each toy.
Split Highlight Base.
The Highlight is only present on the base of the toy.
This Pour Style Type includes an extra cost of £15 per use in a pour for each toy.
Different Splits
Different Splits are the same as mentioned above, but MLM can achieve splits on most parts of the toy and include non-horizontal splits. Please note that we will not do vertical splits on most models. Vertical or non-horizontal splits are difficult and some toys do not support it very well, often better utilised as a streak of colour for customers wanting a different coloured underside.
This Pour Style Type includes an extra cost of £15 per use in a pour for each toy and £20 for splits that include 3 colours.
If you want multiple splits in tandem, please see Banded Colours below.
Messy Drips and Streaks
Messy Drips refer to a drippy mess of colour that drains down the toy. This can often be made to look like cum dribbles or bloody splashes. Sometimes this colour is referred to as ‘sloppy-seconds’ or ‘dribbles’.
MLM refers to toys with Gold, Silver or Bronze Messy Drips as ‘Molten Metal Mess’ and is a speciality.
Streaks refer to colour sloshed down one side of a toy, or into a specific area. The transition line is not straight like a split.
Messy Drips and Streaks can be made with one or multiple colours, but the outcome is unpredictable and can become muddy. Streaks and Messy Drips can usually be guided to what areas they fall, such as only wanting the Messy Drips to go on the underside of the toy, or a Streak that only starts half way up the shaft.
This Pour Style Type includes an extra cost of £15 per use in a pour for each toy.
Fancy Fades
MLM can do fades that go in certain directions and in certain spots. This can be unpredictable, but has worked well so far! The colour fade may not be as ‘smooth’ as regular fades, but this usually depends on the colours chosen.
Fades can also be doubled or tripled up on at differing angles, depending on the toys design and often times the toys size.
This Pour Style Type includes an extra cost of £15 per use in a pour for each toy.
Fancy Marbles
If you want a very specific style of Marble, MLM can usually get there.
Default marbles will be completely random on Custom Toy and not subject to being tight or loose or what not.
MLM can also marble split toys, so that there is a ‘mixed’ area between two colours however it does not fade smoothly between like a fade.
MLM can also marble as many colours as you like together, though would advise choosing no more than 3-4 colours, as it can become muddy with more.
Rainbow marbles can be achieved but will include extra cost per colour.
Banded Colours
Bands refer distinctly to a single band of colour between 2 colours that are the same.
The colours either side of the band are exactly the same, but marbles or fades can be within them as well. MLM has made a speciality out of doing bands and we can achieve bands on nearly any area of a toy requested within reason.
I can also fade bands between each other and do two fades within bands as well. Idgaf I’ll do it.
This Pour Style Type includes an extra cost of £5 PER BAND, per use in a pour for each toy (not including the first band). The more bands you want, the higher the cost.
Example: A toy with 9 stripes in the example would be 8 bands and thus cost £40 extra. Toys with fades or marbles will also cost extra on top of the band price.
Hand Painted Colours
Hand Painted toys is a service offered by Monsters Love Machines but comes with strict rules and are tiered in price. MLM specialises in hand painting and is a pioneer of new methods and formulas for this exact process. However, Hand Painting comes with strict limitations;
How complex a marking is will be determined by three factors;
>How detailed is the marking? Is it full of sharp clear-cut angles?
Easy shapes in Green, Moderately difficult shapes in Orange, Complex shapes in Red.
>How many colours are used? Are the colours overlapping?
One colour, Two Colour, Three Colours interacting.
>How easy is the area specified to paint?
Base of toy Green, Mid Shaft in Orange, Tip and weird areas in Red.
Simple Painted Marking Add On. + £15
Simple shape such as; Heart, Star, Moon, Speckles (no more than 20 small varied spots).
Placed in an easy to reach area depending on the toy.
Colours are limited to ONE (1) plain colour or metallic- no GITDs.
Moderate Painted Marking Add On. + £30
Shapes that are a little tricky but not overly complex or troublesome such as; paw print, simple flower, multiple shapes, speckles (up to 50 small varied spots), loose striping work, etc.
Placed in a reasonably easy to reach area depending on the toy.
May choose up to THREE (3) colours of any sort including Metallic and GITD options. GITD options are more expensive because they are bastards to work with often and fuck with curing times.
Complicated Painted Marking Add On. + £50
Very complex, intricate and also small markings such as; Any letters or Numbers, Ancient Runes, Speckles (up to 90 small varied spots).
Placed in an actually physically possible area depending on the toy.
May choose up to FIVE (5) colours of any sort including Metallic and GitD.
ULTRA EGO Complicated Hand Painted Marking Add On. +£100
You want the moon, I’ll give you the moon.
Anything worse than Complicated Painted Marking Add On- only for extreme cases. May choose up to 20 colours, though I will do more if needed, however this process requires the lab to be ‘shut-down’ for half the day and for a helper to assist me. This is why it is expensive. But if you have something you really need, then this is here for you fantastic peeps.
Monsters Love Machines only offer painted sections near the bases of toys usually- the more complex it is the less the artist will be able to fiddle if it is far up the shaft. Small easy things like speckles are fine to do up the shaft as they don't require a lot of fiddling about. The most ideal place for your marking is on a flat exposed part such as the flat of the ball or on the very flat sides of a base.
What constitutes which level of Painting Complexity is entirely up to Monsters Love Machines and reserves the right to decline any marking with or without reasoning. It may seem simple to you but painting something has to be done in layers- sharp angles and very clean-cut lines are extremely difficult to achieve with a material that is the consistency of sticky, lumpy honey (not at all like paint or ink) and will affect the price drastically.
While Monsters Love Machines will always try maintain a standard level of quality for markings, you must accept what is given to you with the full understanding that if it comes out differently and doesn't suit standards and expectations that a repour may be offered at Monsters Love machines digression but otherwise you must accept what is given to you knowing full well this is the best attempt that could physically be done with such a hand painted marking.
Pour Style Types MLM will not attempt
Honestly, I am yet to see anyone do these well but if you really push me I will give it a go.
I can’t fade a marble very effectively.
I can however offer things like this:
Or this:
I can do this by painting some marbles on the toy first then doing a fade under it before marbling the fade out the with same colour, but not a true marble.
I can’t vertically split a toy.
I cannot get a crisp line right down the middle, if you really want this I will figure out a way but it will cost you big money for being a pain in my ass.
I can’t fade a highlight very well.
I can double highlights but fading never really looks great, it just looks streaky. I may find a better method for this in future, for now I will be like nah.
I can't fix your marriage.
Please don't trauma dump on me or vent to me while I am trying to ask what colour dick you want bro.
